I received a Whirley Pop for Christmas and I love it. What is a Whirley Pop.. you ask??? It is a popcorn maker that makes the BEST popcorn you will ever taste. It is right up there with good movie popcorn. I personally think it puts Microwave popcorn to shame! Allyson is always asking for us to make Whirley Pop; and tonight we made it. And... it is only 2 weight watchers points... so I can have a few cups of it too!
This morning started off crazy. We live on a well/septic system... and we were having our septic tank flushed (NICE!!). The guy was going to come between 11-2. He arrived at 7:20; while we were still in bed. Gotta love appointments! (If I had somewhere to go and had waited for him all day... he would have come at 4!) Anyway.. he woke all the neighbors with the big loud truck and the big loud pump... but he got the job done. After he was finished, and he pulled the hose from the ground.... a little residue was left behind. The man left. The dog was let out. Do I need to say any more? She ROLLED in it. Yes... rolled in it. So... at 7:50 the dog was getting a bath. What a great way for us (STEVE) to start his MLK Holiday! Steve was just as wet as Autumn when that bath was over! I didn't get up to capture pictures of Ms. Autumn rolling in the sludge from the septic. All I can say is... Thank God Steve was home, otherwise.. Autumn would have stayed outside ... all day!!
I have time to write alot tonight.... Autumn went over to the power strip and flipped it off which shut down the tv/dvr combo and we can NOT get it to re-boot.... so... we are without TV at the moment. Gotta love this good dog! (positive reinforcement)
