Today we celebrated Cameron's Birthday. Our oldest was born on the 24th of February 17 LONG years ago. It is hard to celebrate BIG on a week night; so we celebrated a bit early.
We tried a new Japanese Steak House (Ozeki) in Massaponax and it was very nice. Our friends Dave, Jen, Joe, Monica and Jordan joined our family to celebrate. Cameron has wanted to try sushi for a while; so he and his girlfriend Jordan tried for their first time together. Cameron says "it was just ok", I am not sure if he will try again.
For 17 years; I have been in charge of "the cake", and this time.. Jordan asked if she could make a cake for him. Jordan loves to cook, and is in Culinary Arts II in High School. Her dream is to go to Culinary School. She made Cameron a rich chocolate cake, with a buttercream icing drizzled with a raspberry sauce.... it was a HUGE hit.
Presents included a subscription to Guitar World, a Guitar Book, a Aerosmith cd, and on Tuesday... he will get our present... oooh... I will keep you wondering....lol
