Ok... I am not sure where she gets her "messi-ness". This morning when I passed by Allyson's room, I just couldn't stand it another day. We cleaned it out... 2 bags of trash (McDonald's toys, broken crayons, Polly Pocket shoes, and much more). In the end... we had 2 full bags of clothes that no longer fit, and a happy little girl.
I have included before and after photos, you can tell.. even Barbie and Ken look happier. Fresh sheets, an organized closet and a clean room... Everyone will rest well tonight in this room!
In all honesty... I think she gets it from me... I have more important things to do than clean my room too! 2009 is the year of organization though! Next organization job... my scrapbook room; and kitchen pantry! The Holiday Barbie is from 2001. It has never been out of its box, she has admired it on the closet shelf with her other collector Barbies. She always asks to take "just one" out, and today we decided... why not! She chose this beauty to put high up on her shelf.
