1-4-09 - Painting is done!! and Gymnastics

Woo hoo.... the painting is complete. I realized today... a good way to lose weight is to have 4 men in your living room and kitchen for 2 days, lol. Somehow... I managed to have lunch anyway. The painting is complete, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Margaret recommended the painters that she uses for the rental properties that she manages. Medias Painting (http://www.mediaspainting.com/) was professional, thorough, and we can't say enough about how pleased we are. They were able to do our drywall repairs, painting and crown moulding. They are a Class Act, and the price was good too! The pictures below show the family room (those are shadows on the right hand side... looks like a bad paint job) and the kitchen, we also had the foyer painted. The kitchen is like a butternut color, and the family room is a beige/taupe color. We LOVE it.

Tonight was Allyson's night for Gymnastics. The class she is in was doing a little recital for the parents. Here are a few pix of our girl. I think she is a true Nadia Comăneci. Don't you see the resemblance? Look at the form on that dismount. Stick it Ally! You Go Girl.
