I am Thankful for..... My wonderful family and terrific friends! With the exception of a few colds... we are all healthy and Thankful for that! Thanksgiving day will be spent at my nieces house. Katie & Brad just got married in August and are hosting all of us for Thanksgiving. I am bringing the Almond Cheesecake, Green Bean casserole, and Veggie Squares as an appetizer. I will have to take pictures and post those later.
Katie and Brad are expecting my first "grand" niece/nephew in 178 days... I am thankful for that! I will see 2 of my 4 sisters and their families today. I will miss Barb; she is in Florida, and Mary is in South Carolina for Thanksgiving. I will spend the day with my parents... and that is always a treat.
And now on to the materialistic side of thankfulness..... I am thankful for the Cricut Expression! This is a scrapbooking cutting tool. Ahhhh.. the grandaddy of all Cricuts, I received this Cricut in a "deal" with my husband. You see.... he went hunting in November, and upon his return he asked if he could get this duck (a wood duck to be specific) that he shot and flew back home (in a cooler, lol) with him stuffed and mounted (YUCK). After a bit of convincing... and a little "deal"... he would get the duck mounted and I would get THE Cricut Expression. (I don't think he realized quite what he was making a deal on... he had visions of that duck in his "manly" basement and that was all he could see. Now... I think I will love this wood duck.
